National Trails Day at Point Mugu State Park

Join CORBA volunteers as we celebrate California Mountain Biking and Trail Stewardship Month, and National Trails Day!

We’ll be riding from the Wendy/Potrero trailhead to Wood Canyon Vista section of the Backbone trail, about 9 miles, and work on brushing the trail and keeping sight lines clear.  We’ll work until about 1pm, then ride back out to be back at the trailhead by 2pm. Or you can stay and get some more riding in!  Class 1 pedal-assist e-bikes are welcome. We’ll supply the tools, but be sure to bring sturdy work gloves (don’t ruin your riding gloves!), water and snacks for the day.  No experience is necessary, though you’ll need to be able to comfortably ride to the work site.
