The CAMTB Trail Advocacy Bus – powered in part by Marin Bikes – will be coming soon to a town or trail near you.
Thanks to a gracious donation from Marin Bikes, CAMTB now has a new tool to support state-level trail advocacy! The “Wonder Loaf” will be hauling the CAMTB Crew around the state to:
meet with lawmakers and land managers;
connect with current and prospective member organizations; and
build presence at events like Trails & Greenways, Volunteer Trail Days, and Sea Otter Classic.
The Wonder Loaf, a 2008 Sprinter previously and be lovingly known as “Large Marge”, is no stranger to the road. Marge joined the Marin Bikes Demo Team in 2008, supporting numerous bike demos, industry events, and the like all over the west. Now the Wonder Loaf will ensure that we stay connected with our various members and partners, and up to speed on all the local issues affecting the larger riding community.
We commend Marin Bikes for its commitment to trail advocacy in California. Partnerships like these will help CAMTB realize its goal of more and better bike-friendly trails. Michael Anzalone, CAMTB Executive Director
