CAMTB Teen Ambassador
The California Mountain Biking Coalition launched the CAMTB Teen Ambassador program in 2023, in partnership with NorCal Interscholastic Cycling League and the SoCal League. This initiative provides a cohort-based internship model for junior and senior high school student-athletes who are interested in building their resumes while riding, connecting, and taking meaningful action with other California-based student-athletes. In 2024 we expanded eligibility to include the Golden State South League and the California-based athletes in the Nevada Interscholastic Cycling League.
About the Teen Ambassador Program
The ambassadorship is rooted in NICA’s Teen Trail Corps’ SPEAK, SERVE, RIDE, and RESPECT principles and the SoCal League’s WRMB Challenge Values, both of which focus on the non-racing aspects of cycling. The program aims to educate student-athletes about the world of cycling advocacy and inspire a culture of service and personal action. Ambassadors will work alongside our advocacy team, trail partners, and industry representatives, in pursuit of more and better bike-friendly trails in California.
