What Your Ibis Dreambike Giveaway Donation Supports

Your donation to the California Mountain Biking Coalition will help fuel our ongoing state-level mountain bike advocacy efforts, including:

Advancing our Land Manager initiatives with Local, State, and Federal Agencies. CAMTB and its member organizations have two important organized efforts underway, which will help our local trail organizations build productive relationships and more and better trails with state and federal land managers.
Supporting bike-friendly trail stewardship organizations in California with organizational and leadership development resources.
Tracking and influencing legislation that impacts cyclists, access to public lands, and funding for trails, as well as preserving and protecting outdoor spaces and places. For us, that means time spent in Sacramento meeting with lawmakers and garnering their support.
Running the CAMTB Teen Ambassador Program, which is educating and engaging the next generation of leaders in cycling advocacy. CAMTB is currently working with seventeen high school juniors, many of whom just joined us at Sea Otter Classic and Trails & Greenways

About Our Partners

Ride More. Work Less.

On April Fools day of 1981, Scot Nicol “hung up his shingle” on a funky little shop a few miles east of Mendocino, California. On that day, Ibis was started without money and without a plan. Today they’re located in Santa Cruz with 40 (or so) people working at Ibis. The company has evolved from handcrafting steel frames in a garden shed to operating its own cutting-edge, sustainable carbon manufacturing facility in the United States.

The Ibis lineup now boasts an impressive range, from world-cup-winning carbon fiber bikes to award-winning aluminum models, all complemented by a full suite of high-quality components. Their 5 owners all work full-time for the company. Hans Heim is the CEO, Tom Morgan is president, Colin Hughes leads the engineering department, Roxy Lo is the designer, and Scot is Mixologist in Chief.

Never Get Lost in The Woods Again!

Trailforks is a trail management system for outdoor enthusiasts, trail builders & associations. It aims to provide the very best tools to inventory, maintain, promote and showcase trail networks and tourism destinations. Tools such as statistics empower each group to have accessible data to show local city councils, governments, tourism boards and parks, conveying the popularity and potential economic impact of outdoor recreation on their area in order to receive further support to grow trail networks.

You Could Be A Rolling Billboard, Ornot.

Ornot makes clothing inspired by San Francisco’s constantly changing temperatures. With fog, wind, sun, and even rain fog, this means we are obsessed with breathability, wicking, and packability. Its gear is constructed using recycled fibers, merino wool, deadstock fabric, and a general consciousness around ethical production and quality construction. Much of its clothing is produced right here in the USA and while we may like to ride fast sometimes, we are very far from fast fashion.

When founder, Matt Quann, started Ornot in 2013, massive logos and team kits were the norm (ask him about his last team kit). Ornot’s goal was to change the landscape by offering well designed cycling clothing, with minimal branding, made right here in California, that doesn’t break your wallet. You could be a rolling billboard, Ornot.
