Trailforks and CAMTB Team Up to Launch the Inaugural CAMTB California Ride Series
We are excited to announce a new partnership with longtime champion for cycling, trails and public lands: Trailforks.
June 2026 marks California Mountain Biking & Trail Stewardship Month—a dedicated time to celebrate, maintain, and advocate for the incredible trail networks across the Golden State. What better way to kick off a month of celebration than with an epic new challenge, the CAMTB California Ride Series.
Calling all queens, kings, and loCAL legends: it’s time to step up to the start line for the inaugural CAMTB California Ride Series.
While the series makes its grand debut this June, the dirt-fueled action doesn’t stop there. This massive seven-event series extends all the way through late October, taking you from the towering pines of Tahoe to the sun-baked hero dirt of San Diego.
A Partnership Built for the Trails
CAMTB coalition members across California know how to throw incredible, community-driven cycling events. By teaming up with Trailforks, we are uniting these local favorites into one cohesive statewide challenge. Every event you ride directly supports the local advocacy organizations, trail stewards, and community builders who work tirelessly to create and protect the mountain biking experiences we love.
The CAMTB California Ride Series Challenge: June Through October
Whether you’re a brave soul attempting the full seven-event sweep or just looking to tackle a couple of local favorites, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable time. Here is a quick look at where the trail will take us this season:
- June: TAMBA’s Triple Crown (South Lake Tahoe)
- August: MCBC’s Dirt Fondo (Marin)
- September: Sierra Butte’s Mt. Hough Enduro (Quincy), RTA’s Moore Creek MTB Grasshopper (St. Helena)
- October: Marin Trail Stewards BiketoberFest (Marin), SDMBA’s Mount Laguna Trail Fest (San Diego), & OCMTBA’s Good Dirt Ride (Orange County)

Ride, Record, and Get Rewarded
We’re rewarding riders who hit the trails with us this season, and that is where our partners at Trailforks come in. To qualify for the series rewards, all participating rides must be officially recorded on the Trailforks app.
