CAMTB 2023 Legislative Agenda

CAMTB 2023 Legislative Agenda

The California Mountain Biking Coalition (CAMTB) advocates for the diverse needs of mountain bikers and trail organizations across the state. We believe investment in trails, parks, open space, and recreation is imperative. And we support investments and initiatives that preserve and protect the places we love to ride, and the trails that take us to, through, and from them.

Our Legislative Priorities

The CAMTB community is actively engaging legislators and land managers, as well as our non-profit and industry partners to advocate for legislation and/or policy changes that:

  • Increases funding for trails.
  • Promotes equitable access to trails, public lands, and open spaces for all.
  • Preserves, protects, and expands public lands and open spaces.
  • Expands the capacities of the trail stewardship community and removes inherent barriers to their success as agency partners.

CAMTB Advocacy Pillars

  1. Expanded & Enhanced Bike-Friendly Trails
  2. Environmental Stewardship
  3. Equitable Access to Public Lands
  4. Empowered Communities
